Mr. Hanks graduated with honors from both the University of California and from McGeorge School of Law, where he was admitted to membership in the Traynor Society, the schools scholastic honor society. He graduated from McGeorge ranked 12th in the class in 1975. In 1983, Mr. Hanks received a Master's Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He has practiced in the areas of commercial and business law, real estate, probate and estate planning. He is a problem solver, rather than merely a problem identifier, since that is what clients both expect and need. He believes that clear headed, objective, pragmatic analysis of a legal problem is the first step in its solution, and will provide the client with the best possible result.
